I was in this bed and breakfast for a period of one month. I hadn't any problem during my stay. In fact, all of the staffs were so kind and friendly. The room was cleaned everyday when I was out. They also provide iron/iron board, and proper equipment to make your own coffee/tea. It is allowed to have lunch in the rooms. Moreover, there is a supermarket in front of the bed and breakfast, which makes the things easy. The Bournville station is also close: 7 min by walking. In the room, we cannot hear any noise from the pub. This, as a Brazilian, I really felt in home, and strongly recommend for everyone.

Came for Sunday lunch which was an absolute treat!! We came as a surprise party of 8 adults and 6 children. They got us seated immediately and our food arrived hot and extremely quickly. Kids portions were generous, and the gravy and Yorkshire puddings were DELICIOUS! The new team and chef here have massively changed their game for the better. Just need stronger forks now :) I'll be bringing my family here next time they visit as the value for money cannot be argued with. Thanks for a lovely afternoon, and being so kind and accommodating to our rabble of chaos!

The room we had was very clean, comfortable bed and the bedding was spotlessly clean. The staff make this place; very friendly and attentive and was always greeted with a smile. Stirchley is a gem of an area. Similar to Bearwood, with all the varied food and drink places. A proper cool area. Would definitely stop here again as for all the above, the price of the room was well worth it.

We went last night as a group of 17 for a pre-booked Christmas dinner with friends and neighbours and found the Bounrbrook Inn to be top notch. The place was nicely decorated for Christmas and the tables decorated with crackers and candles. The service from the team was great. Sam is the new manager there and she really looked after us. The food was lovely and well presented and was served quickly once we were ready, even though we were a big party. It was also very good value for money. There's a great selection of beers and wines, including independent beers from the Attic Brewery in Stirchley and service at the bar was efficient. Overall, we had a great evening and so a big thank you to Sam and the team

Overall a pleasant experience if you just forget about the breakfast. Bed was comfy enough, it’s definitely a get what you pay for sort of establishment. Can’t complain much about the staff and getting checked in was pretty smooth. However, let’s touch on breakfast. We were told on a weekend breakfast was till 11 so we made a casual stroll down around 9:40am. Welcomed at the bar, well more like we welcomed ourselves. Put our breakfast order in, it’s either a full English or a bap, straight forward choices. Chose our lovely poached eggs, grabbed some weetabix, now it wasn’t busy, but there was no mugs for the tea and coffee, the orange juice and apple juice was empty (it was never refilled) no plates for toast, now this wasn’t an issue because who wants a side plate for toast! Now let’s get onto the plate, well first off we were given another tables food and then was forced to swap with said other table not knowing if they had touched any of the food on the plate… you could tell the staff member was having a stressful morning so we let it slide. Which was ok because I think everything besides our poached eggs were overcooked and burnt and weirdly tasted odd. Which speaking of odd things around 10:15 (baring in mind breakfast finished at 11) everything was being packed away to the point the cleaner used the hot water from the water urn for her mop bucket (I wish I was making this up) so now when people arrived beyond 10:15 there was nothing out for them to have. One man proclaimed “well looks like I’m not having breakfast then” I’m glad we weren’t asked how our food was, I don’t think I could’ve held it in. BUT if you just want a room for a night or two, it’s clean, really clean!! (Besides the one stray pube in our shower) lovely scents of bleach in the air, and a firm bed to sleep on, can’t complain about the room to be honest, just maybe goto a cafe or somewhere else that takes your fancy for breakfast!

My friend and I had a Christmas lunch today @ the Bournbrook and it was absolutely perfect. We had the Turkey with roast potatoes, roast parsnips and carrots. It was well presented and tasted wonderful. For dessert we had the chocolate and orange Torte which melted in your mouth. The manager looked after us so and when I ordered a margarita which unfortunately she didn’t have she mixed a special cocktail me . Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of it. I shall certainly be eating there again. I’m
